The main point of arrival into Westown Square is via the loop road off Kassier Rd, over the Inkosi Shozi bridge and along Inkosi Shozi Drive towards Entrance 3. The secondary entrance is off Kassier Rd via Westown Boulevard. The exit is via Westown Boulevard and into Kassier Rd.

Directions From Durban

• Follow the N3 highway heading West toward Pietermaritzburg.
• Take Exit 32 for Hillcrest / Assagay / Shongweni / Westown
• At the top of the off-ramp turn left into Kassier Road (R103).
• ALTERNATIVELY, follow the M13 heading West toward Pietermaritzburg.
• Take Exit 33 for Hillcrest / Assagay / Shongweni
• At the top of the off-ramp turn left into Kassier Road (R103).
• Follow Kassier Rd under Inkosi Shozi Bridge and keep left to follow the loop road over the bridge into Inkosi Shozi Drive.
• Continue along Inkoi Shozi Drive and Westown Square is directly in front of you.

Directions From Pietermaritzburg

• Follow the N3 highway heading East toward Durban.
• Take Exit 32 for Shongweni / Assagay / Westown.
• At the top of the off-ramp turn right into Kassier Road (R103).
• ALTERNATIVELY, follow the M13 heading East toward Durban.
• Take Exit 33 for Shongweni / Assagay.
• At the top of the off-ramp turn right into Kassier Road (R103).
• Follow Kassier Rd under Inkosi Shozi Bridge and keep left to follow the loop road over the bridge into Inkosi Shozi Drive.
• Continue along Inkoi Shozi Drive and Westown Square is directly in front of you.

Directions From Hillcrest

• Follow Kassier Road (R103) heading south out of Hillcrest.
• Cross over the M13 and continue along Kassier Rd past the Shongweni Club (on your right)
• Cross over the N3 highway and continue along Kassier Road (R103).
• Follow Kassier Rd under Inkosi Shozi Bridge and keep left to follow the loop road over the bridge into Inkosi Shozi Drive.
• Continue along Inkoi Shozi Drive and Westown Square is directly in front of you.

Westown Square extends over 3 levels:

• LEVEL 2 – the drop-off-zone at the archways, Entrance 3 escalators and Total Ninja.
• LEVEL 3 – the main high-street shopping level, Town Square and The Barn, The Bowl and Gardens
• LEVEL 4 – the Kids play areas and main restaurant level.

Entrance 3 is the main drop-off and arrival point to Westown Square. Access to this entrance is off Westown Crescent through Parking Entrance 2 or Parking Entrance 4.

You will find the designated E-HAILING pick-up and drop-off zone at Entrance 3. Please note that E-hailing is not permitted from other parking areas.

Public Transport can only be accessed via the PUBLIC TRANSPORT HUB on Level 2 near Entrance 2.

There is a dedicated Shongweni Westown Public Transport Office located in the transport hub which is open from 6am to 9pm 7 days a week.

Accessing The Public Transport Hub

• Turn right off Kassier Road into Westown Boulevard.
• Continue up Boulevard and take the 2nd right up the driveway.
• Follow the large sign post into the Public Transport Hub.
